NEW YORK (AP) - Major League Soccer has suspended Portland Timbers defender Hanyer Mosquera for three games for striking LA forward Jack McBean during the Galaxy's 1-0 victory last Sunday night.
MLS said in a release Friday that Mosquera was also fined, though the amount was not disclosed.
Mosquera's suspension will begin next Sunday, when the Timbers host Seattle Sounders FC.
